  People who rate this bistro's food highly need a wake up call. Or a trip to Europe. Speaking of Europe, the cooks need to be sent to Europe too, Italy to be precise, so they know what Italian food tastes like. Even Rome tourist traps wouldn't sink that low.
  Pasta was terrible (point for being al dente though). The pizza was like something out of a horror movie - smeared in a thick layer of pesto (instant sodium overdose) and sprinkled with whole, giant, olives. The only thing edible was the carrot soup; hard to mess that one up I guess.
  Second star for the view. Won't even consider coming back.

  We went to a winery tour in the Pyramid winery. It was our 5th time and every time was a sucess. Until now...
  
  The pyramid itself is recommended to everyone. It's amazing and if you have a headache or migraine, after you go inside it goes away within seconds. Can't explain it the pyramid works magic!
  
  After the tour we stayed for dinner at the Restourant on site.
  The staff was very friendly and very polite. Everyone wanted to make us feel at home and had a great attitude.
  Here is where everything went wrong...
  We ordered their signature Caesar drink. It came way too spicy and we couldn't drink it. When we asked for 4 new ones they of course agreed to change it. Now when the drinks came back they were still spicy and it was the SAME glass as what we sent back but now it looked dirty and the garnish on the rim is gone. Strike 1!
  We were there with the kids and we ordered the kids pizza for them. It came really quick and looked great. One kid ate half and gave up while the second kid took one bite and refused to eat. After I took a bite it tasted ok so I wanted to see why and the pizza was completely burned underneath. Charchoaled completely. I was not happy but things happen. My issue was the when we were done eating both kids asked if we can go eat now?! Strike 2!
  We were joking saying that if strike 3 comes we need to get out of this place as soon as we can. We all ordered and appetizer and a meal. The salads were weak and the mains were below average. Presentation was good but the flavours were lacking. Everything was just bad.
  
  As were are rushing to run since we need to go somewhere to feed the kids now the server asks if everything was good and we tell her everything that happened and we need to go feed the kids... The concept of leaving the Restourant after a meal to go eat again is incomprehensible... So we show her the burned pizza and she said I will take it off the bill... After she comes back the pizza is still there and she wants to compensate us with a crappy bottle of wine instead?! Just for reference the bill was $250 and the pizza was $6! Looks bad in them.... Strike 3!
  
  So this place went downhill very fast. The menu here used to be much better. As far as us, we will not get back here again and won't reccomend others to visit the Restourant!

  Whether you're looking for lunch with a view or a romantic dinner, this place is sure to delight. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is perfect and you simply can not beat the view. Did I mention the view?

  Chef Alex Lavroff does it right, focusing on local ingredients paired with Summerhill's organic wine. Best to order a variety and share!
